Bruce Bodsworth

Bruce Bodsworth - Tutor“After 35 years experience in almost all facets of horticulture I love more than anything to pass on my knowledge and experience of the practical side of nature.
From planting thousands of annuals in mass display, to the design of an individual’s garden with my input, to the fine art of Bonsai, to the pleasure of the colourful low maintenance garden, I have developed a life in horticulture where I use the safest of chemicals, the best fertilisers, and the ultimate in colour display.

In the same 35 years my life as an athlete (2010 Australian Master’s Decathlon Gold Medal) has me teaching a similar fine art of health and fitness to all, where my history is proof that gym fees need not apply, and my training keeps me fit and healthy for my role as a Deputy Commander of Coast Guard.

A third and also very important phase of my life is the past fifteen years of teaching Occupational Health and Safety, where, not only at work, do we have to adhere to the rules, but must abide by them at home and elsewhere.”

Bruce has a Certificate IV in OH&S, Certificates in Horticulture in addition to being a qualified Level II Coach ATFCA.
