“We have a wonderful, highly motivated group of students who are producing some really interesting work. As I watch them develop as artists and establish their own studio practice, I feel confident that you will see some of their work in the next artsCape exhibition!”

Virginia has a Masters of Visual Arts from Monash University, a Bachelor of Visual Arts from COFA, Sydney and a Graduate Diploma of Visual Arts from the Canberra School of Arts.  Virginia also has her Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and has taught art in a variety of community settings, including professional development training for art teachers and as an Artist in Residence for the QLD Public Schools program.
She also recently  was the winner of The artsCape Biennial Local Artist Prize with a suspended shell-encrusted grotto titled Diving Bell.
