Learn this exciting South Pacific Island performance art in a fun and friendly group from a teacher with twenty years experience in fire dance and pyrotechnics. You will learn staff spinning which draws on martial arts techniques and Samoan fire dance, then poi, whichdraws on the Maori poi dance techniques. You can also use fire ropes, swords a nd hula hoops - if you’re feeling brave! During the class you will construct your own personal fire stick. A materials fee of $50 is payable to the tutor at the first class. -
