Begining in 2007, the College has successfully run Weaving for Indigenous Australian Women. In 2009 the College began offering the Bundjalung Dialect Langauage program. Both programs received funding by the Federal Government.

The College also applied for and received funding from the NSW Government to offer Scholarships to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people for places in full certificate course in 2010.

Spotlight on Tim Ives – Bundjalung Language Program

Time Ives - Bundjalung Address

Tim Ives leads the Bundjalung Language. In December 2009 Tim visited a number of Bundjalung communities in preparation for the workshops.

“I’m pretty excited about this new one (course). There’s very few speakers in our Nation that still speak it. I’m so proud of the college getting behind us.”  - Tim Ives
