An Accidental Counsellor refers to anyone who is not employed as a counsellor, however finds themselves in a counselling role. You could be a frontline worker in an administrative role, a nurse, teacher, hairdresser, coach, support worker, complimentary health practitioner etc. You will learn an easily understandable and practical framework to support the person effectively with opportunities to practice. The training is designed for you to feel more comfortable and confident on how to best respond to someone who is in need. Within the counselling process, you will have the chance to try out some key counselling techniques in a safe and supportive environment.
