About

This government subsidised short course delivers training on micro business planning and operation, providing students with the ability to increase their business profitability and longevity. It covers 3 units of competency from the BSB30315 Certificate III in Micro Business Operations full qualification with a focus on customer service, business resources, networking, marketing and the development of a business proposal. The program provides students with constructive feedback in a supportive environment on the establishment of and management of a micro business. Modules are worked through progressively in the classroom and student are required to also complete structured home study and work based projects. Successful completion of the assessment tasks will demonstrate that you have the ability to develop your own business plan and apply the theory you have learnt to practical workplace situations. This course has an $80 resource fee.

Entry Requirements

  • No previous experience or knowledge is required
  • Students must be at least 17 years of age to enrol

Course Length, Dates & Hours

  • One day a week in class sessions: 9 am – 4pm
  • Course runs over 9 weeks
  • Additional: One day of home study per week
  • Held at the Byron Bay Campus

USI

From the 1st of January 2015, any student enrolling in an Accredited Training course will be required to obtain a USI. The USI helps to keep your training records and results together in an online account which is controlled by you. You can logon to the USI website and follow the simple instructions online to create your USI. This then needs to be provided to the College at the time of enrolment.
