  • Investigate micro business opportunities (BSBSMB301)
  • Establish networks (BSBREL401)
  • Use digital technology for routine workplace tasks (FSKDIG03)
  • Market the small business (BSBSMB403)
  • Use strategies to plan simple workplace tasks (FSKLRG05)

The Business Marketing Bootcamp course is a government subsidised short course designed for micro business owners, both new and established, who want to gain the necessary skills to succeed or grow their business or business idea.

The training program has been developed by industry professionals and as a short course provides you with affordable professional development. The five units may provide credit towards a range of qualifications including the Certificate III in Micro Business Operations.

You Will Learn To

  • Develop and maintain good customer service
  • Build and promote innovation within a team environment
  • Identify and determine the viability of a micro business idea
  • Build and maintain effective work relationships and networks
  • Develop a marketing strategy with effective tactics

Entry Requirements

  • No previous experience or knowledge is required
  • Students must be at least 17 years of age to enrol

Course Length, Dates & Hours

  • One day of classroom 9.00 am – 4.00pm per week
  • Home study is required
  • Delivery location: Byron Bay Campus
  • There will be no classes during NSW school holidays

From the 1st of January 2015, any student enrolling in an Accredited Training course will be required to obtain a USI. The USI helps to keep your training records and results together in an online account which is controlled by you. You can logon to the USI website and follow the simple instructions online to create your USI. This then needs to be provided to the College at the time of enrolment.
