Learn to make fresh cheese with Debra Allard, a local Cheesemaker with 8 years experience. In this class you learn 2 very special cheeses that can easily be made at home. The 30 minute mozzarella is a real show stopper. Once you have made this in class and practised at home a few times you will never buy mozzarella again. The feta will be made out of local goat’s milk when possible and you will be amazed how easy it is to make. Additional materials $50, includes morning tea, lunch and all the cheeses you make.

What to bring

  • An apron and comfortable closed-in shoes (hair nets will be provided)
  • Pen

*Containers for cheese: 2 500ml containers with secure lids, 1 × 3.5 litre red Decor container with builtin rack (available at woolworths). I would suggest you have an esky in your car to transport your cheese home.

  • $50 for the tutor for addtional materials

This materials fee of $50 includes cheese making recipes, morning tea, light lunch and you get to take home all the cheeses you make on the day. Debra provides an incredible morning tea and lunch on the day, sourced from local providers. Gluten free options are also catered for – please email her the day before the class to let her know if you have any special dietary requirements, on drallard@bigpond.com

Important information

Once your enrolment is completed you will receive a confirmation email. This email will be your receipt and inform you of the dates, time and venue of your course, it will also let you know of anything you need to take to class with you.
