It’s easy when you know how! Watercolour is a gorgeous, luminous medium which allows for surprise, adventure and expressiveness. Over the course we will explore the basic elements of landscape: sky, trees, rocks, water. Ri demonstrates each class and shows how to trust the playfulness of watercolour and how to express your creative self with ease. This course provides a great foundation for landscape painting in watercolour. Additional material fees apply.

What to bring

*Watercolour Tubes: cadmium red, permanent rose, cadmium yellow, lemon yellow, ultramarine blue, prussian blue'

  • Brushes: Round – numbers 6, 14, 20. Flat – 1 inch
  • Palette: white china plate, watercolour palette or white enamel tray
  • Miscellaneous: two water pots, paper towels, holey sponge, single edged razor blade, cotton buds, spray bottle, old plastic credit card
  • Watercolour Paper: 300gm Bockingford rough or cold-pressed – a pad or two large sheets
