About

This one day course is for educators and support staff working within an education and care setting who are required to respond to a first aid emergency, including asthmatic and anaphylactic emergencies. It is a one-day course based on pre-reading and completion of a workbook before attendance at the course. The workbook will be available when you enrol. Course fee includes a manual and face shield. Refresher courses are now done within this one-day format and, although the pre-reading and completion of the workbook are not required for a refresher, they are recommended. This course is delivered and assessed by RTO Parasol EMT (RTO No:2551) who issue the Statement of Attainment to successful participants. This is valid for three years from date of completion but the CPR component is suggested to be renewed every 12 months.

USI

From the 1st of January 2015, any student enrolling in an Accredited Training course will be required to obtain a USI. The USI helps to keep your training records and results together in an online account which is controlled by you. You can logon to the USI website and follow the simple instructions online to create your USI. This then needs to be provided to the College at the time of enrolment.

Feedback from Past Students

"I love the stories & casual approach of the instructor. I find his humour useful to calm my anxious feelings around being a 1st responder."
