If you’re one of the millions who bought a guitar, learned three chords (or less), got frustrated, and hasn’t picked up the guitar since, this class is for you! This is a fresh start, a chance to get over those 'beginner’s blues' and actually get to play stuff and enjoy it. So dust off your guitar, bring it along and join in. But be warned, you may well find you’ll acquire a lifelong addiction to playing your guitar.

What to bring

Course testimonials:

  • Excellent tutor
  • Karl combines a non threatening environment with great music, an introduction to music theory and guitar playing involving easy chords and strumming and a bit of fingerpicking. He is very encouraging and passionate. He follows up each of his class with a long email that goes over what we did, as well as videos of how to continue to practise at home and more options for further development. A fantastic course.
  • Classes flowed easily from one topic to the next. Great balance between theory and practice. Wonderful notes for home study. Lovely and caring teacher.
