Looking for a fun and rewarding career working with children? This short 8 week course will give you an introduction into working in the Early Childhood sector. You will gain quality, hands-on child-focussed experiences, covering interesting aspects of child health and safety, sustainable practice, child protection and legalities of the Early Childhood sector.
This short course covers 5 units from the full CHC30113 – Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. Successful completion of the units can be used towards completing the full qualification, which starts on Monday 10th February 2020.

Entry Requirements
- No previous experience or knowledge is required, however students are required to be able to kneel, bend, sit on the ground and carry loads as part of their training.
Course Duration & Hours
- 8 weeks duration
- Two days of classroom (Mondays and Tuesdays) 9:00am – 3:00pm per week
- Delivery location: Mullumbimby Campus

USI
From the 1st of January 2015, any student enrolling in an Accredited Training course will be required to obtain a USI. The USI helps to keep your training records and results together in an online account which is controlled by you. You can logon to the USI website and follow the simple instructions online to create your USI. This then needs to be provided to the College at the time of enrolment.
Important Information
Once your enrolment is completed you will receive a confirmation email. This email will be your receipt and inform you of the dates, time and venue of your course, it will also let you know of anything you need to take to class with you. Please make sure that you give us a valid email address and mobile number as any course changes will be communicated via sms or email.
