Paint the Australian Outback

This course has no current classes. Please the waiting list.

Uluru, the MacDonnell Ranges and Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) symbolise the grandeur and mystery of the Australian landscape. Harry will demonstrate ways to represent the majestic forms, vast distances, brilliant light and mesmerising colours of this quintessential Australian landscape. Using drawing and watercolour, you will learn to apply and control washes of colour, simplify the painting of rocks and hills, and depict the textures of gumtrees and spinifex. If you have been or still dream of going there, this workshop will help to develop your photos or vision of Outback Australia into watercolour artworks.
