This course has no current classes. Please the waiting list.

This course is for students who already have sewing experience and will show you how to take measurements, apply them to a body block, then use this information for pattern making and alterations to create better fiting clothes. We will also explore how to copy and make a pattern from an existing garment. This is a great course for those wanting to learn the basics of patternmaking.

What to bring

  • Paper, pens and pencils
  • L-shaped ruler (if you have one)
  • Pins, paper and scissors

STUDENTS: PLEASE NOTE that the high school has a security gate which will be locked soon after course commencement please do not arrive late to class or you will not be able to get in.
