Pattern Making for Beginners

This course has no current classes. Please the waiting list.

This course is designed so that you will understand how to take measurements, apply them to a BODY BLOCK, then use this information for pattern alterations and to create better fitting clothes. We will also explore how to copy and make a pattern from an existing garment. This is a great course for those wanting to learn the basics.

What to bring

  • Pen, pencil, eraser, pencil sharpener,
  • 20 page display folder,
  • Tape measure,
  • L square and/or French curve (metric)
  • Pattern making paper can be purchased from tutor ($4 per sheet)
  • Please wear fitted under garments as we will be taking body measurements

Important information

Once your enrolment is completed you will receive a confirmation email.
