Discover how moving your whole body better can help your shoulder flexibility. Explore gentle Feldenkrais movements so that you can use your arms more freely in whatever you like to do; reach further, play music more fluidly, swim with ease.

This course is based on the Feldenkrais Method which is named after it’s founder Moshe Feldenkrais, a scientist who realized that through sensing more clearly HOW we move we can learn to move more efficiently, releasing unnecessary muscular work. Access the intelligence of your nervous system to “switch off” the muscle holding. Feel how the movements of your spine, ribs and neck relate to movements of your shoulders. Learn about the functional anatomy of your shoulders, through demonstrations utilizing a model skeleton. Find out about what can cause pain in the shoulders, and ways of moving to prevent or ease this. Come along and nourish your self through relaxing movement.
